Danyelle’s pimp Jazz
I was finally able to see close up and in detail the amount of MUGEN love she has on her Jazz. Pictures don’t do justice..

Canibeat’s First Class Fitment 2010
Last Saturday I had the pleasure of attending [what i considered to be] the BEST east coast event of the year. You’ll find a t-shirt that Canibeat.com distributes, “Quality Over Quantity”… and that is exactly what they displayed at their function. Keep an eye out for next year, I wouldn’t be surprised if the show were to grow 3 fold!
ATS Flagship..
Fred was down in Socal this past weekend for Joey’s The Chronicles, 2yr anniversary meet @ Eibach. He was able to pick up the latest Honda Tuning issue feature one of our very own, EKSquad found Chris Sakai!
Cover looks great, congrats to Chris. This car has been a constant project for years. While some of us move on, Chris was disciplined enough to keep his original build going. Here are a few snaps of the article, go to your local newsstand and get your copy today!

Weekend Wrap Up
So besides watching the Giants clinch the NL West :), I stopped by San Jose Japantown last Saturday for the “Spirit of Japantown” car show which was hosted by Ernesto and the FFTec staff. The event wasn’t too big but quality was definitely on hand. I stopped by kinda late so I didn’t take too many pictures, here are a few worthy ones:
Darwin from Sonic MS’s E-Class sitting on Work Varianza Schwert
Ernesto announcing the winners..
Sunny from Franklin Autobody’s Insight
Lisa and Jason’s DC2, as seen in Honda Tuning.
Ferd’s official Spoon Certified EG2

Sosy Feature Part II: Phuong’s E92
Phuong’s BMW 335i definitely will make you look twice. Aside from seeing this car at Wekfest, I also got a chance to check it out again last month at the Blox Open House event. One thing that stands out the most on this E92 is the Neo Chrome-linke finish on the Work Meisters. Phuong was kind enough to let me use some of his pictures for this quick feature. He also tells me that there are some major changes coming for this car so stay tuned!

Sosy Feature: Daniel’s Jetta
A few weeks back I had gone on our Facebook page and asked if anyone was interested in their cars featured. In the past we’ve mainly featured Japanese makes and models, and this time around I wanted something out of our usual spectrum. With that said, Daniel kindly hit me up with pictures of his Jetta wagon. Although Daniel’s car isn’t as wild or heavily modified as others you see in magazines or at car shows, it is evident that with a few simple parts you can make any car stand out.

Nisei Week Showoff
The annual Nisei Weekend Showoff car show by Import Showoff will be held this weekend in Little Tokyo, Los Angeles. We won’t be there this year unfortunately but if you happen to go, look out for the Weksos sponsored camp from the ATS x DPK line up.
Also be sure to check out the Showoff x The Chronicles “best of the best” line. You won’t be disappointed.

Summer Rendezvous Recap..
What a Sunday! Adam and I showed up at around 7 a.m. since the lot was opening at 7:30, but to our surprise, some of our loyal supporters were there wayyyy earlier before we were. Once the lot opened, we started to see a good amount of cars consistently coming in. There was a good variety of makes and models at the event and that’s something we always like to see.
Since the location was a public parking lot, regular cars started to arrive around noon time, which sort of diluted and separated the cars there for the meet. This is something we will definitely do our best to resolve in our next meet. This event was solely an experiment with the location since we honestly didn’t know what the turnout and feedback would be. With that said, major improvements will be addressed for our next one.
As many of you have already heard, there was an accident involving an E36 on the way to the meet on HWY17. We sincerely hope that the driver and everyone else in the car came out ok.
Last but no least, on behalf of everyone here at Weksos, I would like to thank all of those who came out and supported our event. We hope your Sunday was an enjoyable one. Also want to thank Darwin and the Sonic MS group, VIPstylecars.com, StanceWorks, Canibeat, Santa Cruz Boardwalk and many others who helped us with this event!
Here are some pictures I found on NWP. If any of you have found coverage elsewhere, please feel free to link us or add them to our Facebook page!

AmsterDAMMMMN EG!
Saw this EG while I was browsing through NWP. Looks like the owner’s all the way from Amsterdam while sporting one of our very own Yowai-SS cooling plate. 🙂

In Before the Hype..
Quang’s DC2. One of the first to be featured on Weksos. This dates back to a time when Carbing Strut Bars and CPR wheels were the first of its kind, or at least not as well known to the public than it is nowadays..
